Sewing Production Day

Standard:  8.01 Demonstrates Hand Sewing Skills Objective:  I can understand the importance of time management while completing my final project in class Agenda: Review & collect bell ringer  Complete:  Work independently the rest of the class period. You will have all week to work on this and two days next week, take your time! Use your blueprint at all times! Due Date: Friday, September 20th!

Sewing Production Day

Take out your folder, pen/pencil, and project bag. Read the start-up information and complete your bell ringer. Standard:  8.01 Demonstrates Hand Sewing Skills Objective:  I can understand the importance of time management while completing my final project in class Agenda: Complete bell ringer! You must be in your seats and SILENT as soon as you enter class. You will be dismissed by tables to grab your project bags. Complete:  Work independently the rest of the class period. You will have all week to work on this and two days next week, take your time! Use your blueprint at all times! You may NOT move from your seat unless told to do so! Failure to do this will result in a mark on the expectation log. Homework:   Review stitches from last weeks blog post with videos Bell Ringer: What stitch are we using when completing the edges of our pillow? Due Date: Friday, September 20th!

Independent Sewing Day 1

Take out your folder, pen/pencil, and project bag. Read the start-up information and complete your bell ringer. Objective:   I will understand the final project requirements and how to create a blueprint for my final project.  Agenda: Review bell ringer  Label new project bags  Discuss:  Go over project rubric Review:  Pinning and cutting techniques Check:  Mrs. Brezin needs to check your blueprint before you start sewing! (if not done yet) Discuss:   Project directions  Independent Work:  You have the rest of the class period for independent sewing Homework:   Review all stitches for final project Bell ringer:   Describe your design and color choice for your project. *DO NOT take your bins to your table, just grab your project bag at the start of class everyday*
