Buttons, Different Direction Stitches & Appliques

Objective: I will be able to complete a blanket stitch and decorations (pompoms, buttons and sequins) by the end of the period

Agenda:
  1. Review bell ringer 
  2. Folder Check!
  3. Demo & Complete: Chain Stitch
  4. Demo & Complete: Blanket stitch
  5. Demo: Sewing on a button 4-hole and 2-hole
  6. Complete: Sewing on a button
  7. Review: Sequins and pompom application
  8. Complete: Sequins and pom pom application
  9. Demo: Pinning & Cutting Patterns
  10. Finish: Pin Cushion
    1. 1 piece felt: Initials (Backstitch)
    2. 2nd piece of felt: Button & hardest stitch/applique
    3. Sew both pieces together (blanket stitch) leaving a small hole
    4. Stuff pin cushion and tie off!
