Expectation and Culinary Math


Objective: I will be able to understand how to safely use a knife and properly set up a cutting board by the end of the period. NO TALKING DURING BELL RINGER!

Agenda:
1. Review bell ringer
2. Go over culinary math HW
3. Expectation Presentation- You need to show me how you need to behave before we start cooking! 
-How should we behave at the start of class
-How should we behave during class
-How should we behave at the end of class
-What expectations do we have for our cooking unit?
3. Demo: Cutting board/knife skills/knife cuts!

Bell Ringer: 
1. How many cups are in 1 gallon?
2. How many quarts are in 3 gallons?
