Thread Needle, Tie Knots, and Stitch Review

Objective: I can understand how to thread a needle, tie a knot, and recall running stitch and backstitch.

 Agenda:
  1. Label bell ringers and complete
  2. Pass out needles and felt. 
  3. Review how to spool embroidery floss
  4. Demo: How to thread a needle and how to tie a knot
  5. Demo: Running stitch and backstitch
  6. Start overcast stitch

Homework: None!

Bell Ringer: What is hole of the needle called? Why do we need to spool our thread each time we use a new skein?
