Last Day of Q2!

Take out your folder, pen/pencil and start on bell ringer! Demo & Pizza Box Design

Objective:  I will be able to understand the functions of yeast and how to properly use it when completing the pizza crust lab Agenda: 1. Demo Pizza Crust for Tomorrow. Pay attention to the kneading demonstration, you will need to do this tomorrow! - After watching the demo-- draw and write out all the stages of dough for our pizza crust (mixing, kneading, proofing/rising, punching, rolling/shaping, and baking) 2.  Review: Yeast Functions and Gluten         Video:    The Science Behind Bread 4. C reate a pizza box design that represents your kitchen and pizza. We will share at the end of class! -Create a logo -Box Design -Slogan or Name   -Theme?            5.  Watch:   What is gluten?   Or How its Made: Bread Bell Ringer:  What is gluten? What is its function and how does it make bread rise (what gas is inside the dough)?
