Objective: I will be able to understand the functions of yeast and how to properly use it when completing the pizza crust lab

Agenda:
1. Demo Pizza Crust for Tomorrow. Pay attention to the kneading demonstration, you will need to do this tomorrow!


2. Review: Yeast Functions and Gluten

3. Watch-- How it's made: Bread

 4. If time, Create:  Visual Recipe Activity-- Draw out our pizza recipe from start to finish! 

Bell Ringer: What is gluten? What is its function and how does it make bread rise?

Complete Pizza Lab-- Punch down dough, roll out, top, and bake. You only have 12 minutes to prepare your pizza for the oven! It must be done in 10 minutes or it will be raw!! 2.  Complete: Lab Evaluation Form 3. Take out your folder, pen/pencil, and project bag. Read the start-up information and complete your bell ringer. Objective:   I can recall an overcast stitch, running stitch and back stitch. I will understand and complete my blueprint by the end of the period.
